Job Summary 

An Air Warfare Senior Intelligence Integration Analyst is responsible for mentoring a team of air warfare analysts and for all team analytic production, evaluating, and integration of all-source intelligence information into future top-level assessments supporting the Navy acquisition community. This position is in Suitland, MD.     

Specific Duties 

  • You will be responsible for the analysis and production of technical intelligence related to naval air warfare, advanced and future technologies, and country/regional areas of concern.
  • You will perform intelligence work that includes various foreign naval technology evaluations, concepts of operations and assessments of their military potential against missions of the U.S. Navy.
  • You will assist division leadership and mentor a team of air warfare analysts in overseeing naval warfare threat support to navy acquisitions.
  • You will provide expert acquisition threat support to services and guidance to appropriate acquisition program offices, ONI offices, junior acquisition support personnel within ONI, the broader intelligence community, and other designated parties.
  • You will initiate, coordinate and produce acquisition-related current and future intelligence assessments related to air warfare. Mentor junior analysts, assist with intelligence production, and program support. Provide direct support to the surface and air warfare teams and additional support as required to the Senior Naval Integration Officers (SNIOs).
  • Provide future intelligence support to the U.S. Navy acquisition community and other specified acquisition programs, demonstrating extensive and comprehensive air warfare analytical expertise.

Requirements

Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience is demonstrated through the following competencies:

  • U.S. Navy/USMC Aviator/NFO
  • Air warfare intelligence analysis
  • Naval warfare intelligence analysis
  • Acquisition Community experience
  • Air warfare instruction experience
  • USAF Pilot/Navigator
