Description
This position is located in the Office of the Administrator, Office of the Executive Secretariat. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to lead a team while prioritizing competing priorities and meeting required deadlines. They will also have the ability to establish short and long-range plans, evaluate performance of subordinate employees, and provide leadership over DHS and FEMA priorities, goals, and objectives.

Qualifications:
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for this position at the GS-15 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: · Managing communications with senior officials to provide updates on outstanding and/or pending items, AND · Preparing and reviewing correspondence, briefing materials and/or other documents for senior leadership approval, AND · Using automated systems to track tasks, assign appropriate due dates, and analyze data to compile weekly and/or monthly reports. AND ·Directing the work of a complex organizational administrative program responsible for the regulatory, administrative, policy development, manpower, and logistical/technical support for the Agency and its subordinate activities.
