At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of Program Manager Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE), we are seeking a Configuration Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate Configuration Management (CM) activities.
• Generate specifications or plans to support acquisition documentation; support technical findings and recommendations.
• Perform customer liaison, make presentations, attend customer meetings, and consult with stakeholders.

Specific tasks may include:

• Draft baseline documentation, Engineering Change Proposals, and CM Plan annexes; participate in CM meetings and audits; identify and track hardware, software, and program documentation; document and implement change control processes.
• Use the program’s preferred CM tool (e.g., CMPro, Jira) to track and manage configuration items.
• Manage the security, receipt, and distribution of data per the CM Plan, including classified documents for system upgrades or replacements.
• Review and submit technical edit recommendations to program documents; participate in drawing reviews, configuration audits, Working Groups, IPT meetings, Technical Reviews, and Decision Briefings.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience.

Specific/Preferred Requirements:

• Security clearance required.
• Working knowledge of Systems Engineering and CM concepts, documentation, methodologies, best practices, and tools such as CMPRO and Jira.
• Working knowledge of applicable Military Standards (MIL-STD-961, MIL-STD-963, MIL-STD-31000) and ASME documentation (Y14 series).
