In support of Product Manager Future Weapons Systems, we are seeking a Systems Engineer IV with experience supporting DoD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.

A Systems Engineer oversees the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance, integrating network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices. Duties span the full development cycle: specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance, while considering cost, schedule, and program-level factors.

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Assistant Product Manager for Engineering (APdM-E); ensure APdM-E level tasks are tracked, executed, and reported.
• Provide continuous technical engineering support for documentation supporting the Systems Engineering Technical and Technical Management Processes per DoD 5000-series policy, DON policies, and MARCORSYSCOM guidance (TRR, PVT, SRR, SVR, IEEE 15288.2).
• Develop, facilitate, and close Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events, including Technical Review Action Plans (TRAPs) and Technical Review Data Packages (TRDPs); maintain the SETR calendar and event data on Government sites.
• Provide Systems Engineering and Test & Evaluation input to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); support SE Working-level IPTs and Configuration Control Boards.
• Analyze user requirements; maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) and update following each test event; support TEMPs/eTEMPs, test plans, procedures, and Test Incident Reports (TIRs).
• Serve as the remain-behind element when the APdM-E is on travel; draft initial products and provide input for PdM Risk Reviews, status meetings, Technical Review Boards, and the Configuration Control Board.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with fourteen (14) years of relevant IT professional experience overseeing hybrid software, web and hardware products from specification to roll-out and maintenance. Ten (10) years of direct experience may substitute for a Master’s degree.

Specific/Preferred Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required. This position is not eligible for remote work or 100% telework.
• Senior-level knowledge of acquisition engineering and associated Product Support Elements; ACAT II, Post Milestone C, and Ground Based Air Defense experience.
• Experience supporting Weapons, Sensors Development, and Integration systems (MAGTF C2, Air Defense, Radar, Unmanned, Command/Control).
• Knowledge of CM Pro, Configuration Control Board processes, Risk Exchange+, MS Teams, ETMS2, and VIPER; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills; experience as a task lead/manager and delivering presentations and briefings.
