In support of Facilities Supply & Service Operational Services, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II who specializes in Birthing and has experience supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in providing integrated logistics support activities for effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical expertise in Marine Corps logistics, material and supply management; facilitate accountability in retail- and enterprise-level inventory activities.
  • Prepare, maintain and control supporting documentation for a capital asset’s lifecycle (acquisition, transference, sub-custody, and final disposition).
  • Propose and manage new mechanisms to improve project workflow efficiencies; proactively identify points of weakness and inefficiency.

Specific tasks may include:

  • Process asset entry into GCSS-MC and DPAS; maintain Key Supporting Documents (KSDs).
  • Conduct causative research; manage MILSTRIP documentation; reconcile Due-In and Status Files (DASFs).
  • Maintain sub-custody records; support capital asset lifecycle documentation and internal control implementation.
  • Support audit readiness; conduct trend analysis and reporting.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4 years of related experience (minimum).

Specific/Preferred Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of GCSS-MC, DPAS, PIEE/WAWF/EDA, FEDMALL, WebFLIS, PDREP, Logistics Data Gateway (LDG), and ETMS2.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining auditable documentation and conducting causative research.
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps internal control programs and audit compliance; experience facilitating Government property transfers (GFP).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; high accuracy in data entry; able to work independently.
