Description

The Pass & ID Specialist provides front-line credentialing and access control services at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) in Suitland, MD, ensuring compliance with ONI, DON, and DoD security directives. This role processes visitor and employee identification, operates credentialing systems (AccessNsite, DBIDS, Salto), monitors uncleared personnel, supports digital fingerprinting, and maintains accountability for personnel, vehicles, and property entering/leaving the facility. Work schedule: Monday-Friday 0600-1430, may require 1 weekend/month.

Salary Band: $24.03 – $26.44/hr

Requirements

Required: U.S. Citizenship with no foreign contacts. Active TS/SCI clearance; must maintain SCI eligibility (SSBI/T5/T5R), comply with ICD 704. High school diploma or GED. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Familiarity with access control systems and credentialing processes. Strong attention to detail; ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure; ability to stand for extended periods.

Desired: Prior experience in access control, credentialing, or security operations. Completion of Government IA training/certification per DoD 8570.01 M.
