FGS, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) in Suitland, Maryland. The engineer will design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise routing, switching, encryption devices, LAN/WAN connectivity, and secure network services across multiple classified security enclaves on a globally deployed Cisco-based enterprise network. Requires enterprise routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), Cisco Firepower/IOS-XE/NX-OS, VLANs/QoS/MPLS/IPSec, and Type 1 encryption device support for DoD and Intelligence Community operations.

Salary Band: $175,000 – $190,000

Requirements

Required: U.S. Citizenship. DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification. Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or related field (or 3 additional years experience in lieu of degree). Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Minimum 3 years enterprise network engineering, Cisco Firepower administration, and configuration management in classified environments. TS/SCI clearance.

Desired: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Experience supporting ONI or other DoD/IC customers. Experience with NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, or CAP/SCI networks. SolarWinds network monitoring experience.
