Sabre Systems is recruiting a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters Program Office (PMA-299) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. Serving as Deputy for the Engineering Lead, the candidate provides systems engineering support to the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) for MH-60R/S helicopter sensor systems, including Acoustic sensors, Radar, FLIR, and EO/IR. Responsibilities include system integration, engineering change proposals (ECPs), flight clearances/airworthiness, configuration management, risk management, preparing technical analyses and documentation, and leading Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR). Requirements

Requirements: Technical or Scientific BS/BA from an accredited college or university; at least seven (7) years of recent, relevant engineering experience; demonstrated expertise in an area of engineering. Experience with acoustic sensor systems, RADAR, and FLIR/Electro-Optical-Infrared is highly preferred, along with systems integration of mission systems in a DoD/Naval Aviation environment and preparing/reviewing engineering documentation, specifications, and technical risk assessments.
