Comfort Keepers of Fredericksburg is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality, hands-on personal care to clients in their homes. CNAs play a central role in helping seniors and other adults remain safe, healthy, and comfortable in a familiar environment.

Responsibilities include assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting; supporting mobility, transfers, and positioning; taking and recording vital signs as directed; assisting with meal preparation and feeding; providing medication reminders; and helping maintain a clean, safe living space. CNAs document the care provided and report any changes in a client’s condition to the care team and family.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes in the Fredericksburg area. Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with in-home personal care. Compassion, patience, strong communication skills, and dependability. A client-focused approach and the ability to follow individualized care plans. Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screening.
