Description

Comfort Keepers of Fredericksburg is seeking compassionate in-home Caregivers to support seniors and other adults in maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life in their own homes. Caregivers provide companionship and hands-on assistance with everyday activities, helping clients stay comfortable, engaged, and well cared for.

Typical responsibilities include companionship and conversation; assistance with light housekeeping and meal preparation; medication reminders; mobility, transfer, and positioning support; running errands and accompanying clients to appointments; and help with personal care and daily routines. Caregivers observe and report changes in a client’s condition and communicate regularly with the care team and family members.

This role is well suited to caring, dependable individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Training and ongoing support are provided to help caregivers succeed.

Requirements

A genuine desire to help others, with a caring, patient, and respectful approach. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes in the Fredericksburg area. Strong communication skills, punctuality, and dependability. Ability to follow care plans and report observations accurately. Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required, as training is provided. Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screening.
