THE WORK

– Support or lead projects including functioning as a scrum master when requested.
– Support as team lead responsible for team certifications, qualifications, cross-training assignments, instructor readiness, and post-event reporting.
– Develop new training materials, update existing curriculum, plan and execute development tasks to meet key milestones.
– Conduct formal training for internal and external customers, conduct instructor evaluations, and submit training reports.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
– Operational experience with the Aegis Weapon System with at least one Aegis shipboard tour and one successful training/instructional tour.
-Graduate of at least one AN/SPY series
course.
– Ability to discuss operational concepts related to Aegis Combat System and the Aegis Weapon System
-Ability to brief operational and tactical concepts to officers and senior enlisted.
*US Citizenship is required and qualified candidate must obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. Active Secret Clearance is preferred*

Desired Skills:
-Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
-Experience with curriculum development
-Familiarization with Microsoft Office (Power
Point and Excel)
-Experience with Agile principles in regard to building a plan/roadmap and executing efficiently.
