Description
State Role Title: First-Line Supervisor/Manager of Food Preparation and Serving Workers
Job Duties: Manages the clinical nutrition system to ensure optimum nutrition for all residents.
- Interview new admissions and develop initial nutritional care plans, reviewing them quarterly
- Attend resident care conferences and ensure all areas of the care plan are carried through
- Maintain a basic understanding of Food Service Department operations, including budget controls, personnel actions, quality food production, sanitation, safety, and nutritional care
- Support the Food Service Director as needed
- Enter budget figures, menus, nutritional information, and dietary notes
- Train the Dietary Service Program Assistant in entering budget figures, menus, resident care, and dietary notes
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical Dietetics
- Certified Dietary Manager required
- Driver’s License required
