Job Duties: Responsible for overseeing the unit as a Charge Nurse and providing nursing care to patients/residents during the shift. Serves as a resource to staff when needed. Maintains a quality of service that fulfills the objectives of the facility and is in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by the facility’s administration and governing body.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a current Licensed Practical Nursing license in the state of Virginia
CPR certification required upon hire or willing to obtain
Previous Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care setting a plus
