JobZone Events sends commercial and event-invitation email in compliance with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. This policy explains our email practices and how to opt out.
Who we email: We contact job seekers and employer/business contacts relevant to our in-person career and job fairs in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia region, in sectors including defense, cybersecurity, government, and law enforcement. Business contacts may be sourced from reputable third-party business-contact providers as well as prior JobZone event attendees and registrants. We do not email purchased consumer lists.
Our standards: Every message identifies JobZone Events accurately in the From, Reply-To, and routing headers, uses non-deceptive subject lines, includes our valid physical mailing address (131 Main St, PO Box 13, Lovingston, VA 22949), and provides a clear one-click way to unsubscribe (a List-Unsubscribe header plus an in-body link).
Opt-outs: We honor every opt-out request promptly (within 10 business days) and permanently suppress the address. Any recipient who reports a message as spam is suppressed on first report. We do not sell, rent, or share our contact lists.
