Who They Are

The Maryland Department of Labor’s Veterans Services team, including Local Veterans’ Employment Representatives (LVER) and Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program (DVOP) Specialists, is dedicated to helping veterans and eligible spouses successfully transition into meaningful civilian employment. These programs ensure veterans receive priority support and access to workforce resources across the state.

What They Do

LVER and DVOP staff work directly with veterans, employers, and community partners to support employment outcomes through:
