Angela Armer will be available to assist during the job fair. Ms. Armer supports the transitioning military and family members who are preparing for their separation or retirement in the civilian workforce. The Fleet and Family Support Center offers a wide variety of programs and services for active duty, military family members, retired military personnel and DoD civilians under the following three functions: DEPLOYMENT / READINESS, CRISIS RESPONSE, COUNSELING, AND ADVOCACY CAREER SUPPORT AND RETENTION. Programs include the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) for service members and their families transitioning out of the military; Family Employment Readiness education programs to assist family members with their job search; and Personal Financial Management education programs that promote financial stability. One-on-one counseling is also available.
